Most of the time Muse Copywriting is one writer, Jill Farrar, quietly tapping away at her laptop. But if any job is too big for just Jill, she has a small army of freelance writers ready to help out.
COPYWRITING
So what does she do all day? Many ask this question. Put simply, Jill does copywriting and proofreading. This means writing and editing for things like newsletters, flyers, websites, ads, magazines, catalogues, manuals, reports, stories and tea boxes.
For example:
Client: We need to talk to our customers! We need to talk to the general public! They just don’t get it. I think we need an email. Do you do things like that?
Jill: Sure I do, and I’d love to help. What do you want to tell them?
Client: Well…[insert half an hour of chat and banter]…and that’s what we really want to say.
Jill: OK, I’ll write that up for you. In 200 words or less.
Client: Great, thanks!
So it’s pretty straightforward. You tell Jill what you want to say and she’ll say it like you would, except a bit better.
PROOFREADING
What if you just need to check spelling and grammar? Jill’s an experienced proofreader and is also happy to quote on proofreading and editing jobs.
